Description:

Crocker Cabins are located in the Town of Trout River in the south sector of Gros Morne National Park. The cabins are open 12 months a year providing quality accommodations in a secluded setting, just minutes from Trout River Pond and the Tablelands. Crocker Cabins are located on a large private secluded lot, surrounded by natural vegetation. The self-contained housekeeping cabins are fully furnished with modern amenities including satellite TV, full kitchens including microwaves, decks and BBQ's. There are also a coin-operated laundromat and a playground on site. After a day of exploring all that the area has to offer, many guests love to head down to the beach for an evening bonfire. While our cabins themselves are smoke-free, guests are permitted to smoke outside on their decks.

Location:

We are located in the south sector of Gros Morne National Park in the community of Trout River. Gros Morne is the largest national park in Atlantic Canada and one of the most spectacular in Canada's national park system.

The community of Trout River borders on the Atlantic Ocean. Our units are located on the inland side of the community, about a 2 km walk to the oceanfront boardwalk that separates the community from the ocean beach.

Guests like our location because it is in a quiet area of the community, actually situated on the boundary between local Park facilities and community attractions.

These comfortable cabins offer a double bed, bathroom with tub and shower, full kitchen including microwave, electric kettle and everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. The sofa does not fold out but can accommodate an extra guest. There is satellite tv in the living room. Enjoy your deck and BBQ (shared with one other cabin). Smoking is not permitted in the cabins but guests are free to smoke on the deck. We do offer a fully wheelchair accessible unit; please specify in your reservation request if you require this unit. We are happy to provide a pet-friendly environment; please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a pet.

Getting There:

Driving North from Trans Canada Highway, take Route 430 at Deer Lake for 37 kms to Wiltondale, turn onto Route 431 to Trout River (50 kms)

Driving South from St. Anthony along Route 430, take Route 431 at Wiltondale. Once you have arrived at the community of Trout River, follow the signs with directional arrows that will guide you to us.
