Full kitchen, 4-piece bathroom with air tub. The private patio with picnic table, chairs and BBQ has an outstanding view of Graham's pond and the ocean. Available for weekly stays only. Saturday check-in and check-out.

Two-story upper level of our new chalets. Lower story has two bedrooms with queen beds and 4-piece bathroom with air tub. Open concept living room features cathedral post and beam construction ceiling, with sleeper sofa, corner propane fireplace and flat screen wall-mounted TV. All units have high speed wireless internet. Full eat-in kitchen shares the spectacular view overlooking Graham's pond and the ocean. Private deck with BBQ, patio table and chairs. A stairway leads to the comfortable loft on the upper level, with chairs to relax in and a computer desk, which is open to the living room below and also overlooks the pond and ocean. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom, with two-person air tub and separate corner shower. Both the master bedroom and ensuite bath have televisions. Available for weekly stays only. Saturday check-in and check-out.

Our Oceanside Villas are our newest addition to the Pictou Lodge Beachfront Resort, they are located directly on the Northumberland Strait. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (both 4-piece) and full kitchen facilities you can enjoy all our resort has to offer with the amenities of your own private oceanview cottage. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed, the other with two singles. The third bedroom is located on the main floor and features a king size bed. For your added enjoyment, these villas offer WiFi access, a jetted tub and private decks with BBQ's. Available for weekly stays only. Saturday check-in and check-out.

Children & Extra Guest Policy:

Dogs are allowed but must be kenneled when left alone. An additional fee of $30 will be payable upon arrival for guests wishing to keep a dog in their room.

Local Attractions:

New Scotland Shores is located just 5 km east of the historic town of Pictou. Known as "the birthplace of New Scotland", it was here the province's first Scottish Highlanders landed on the Ship Hector in 1773. Pictou boasts an award-winning waterfront development that includes the Hector Heritage Quay, where a full scale replica of the Hector was built using traditional ship building techniques. Learn about the ship and its passengers at the interpretive centre, or watch the traditional carpenters and blacksmith at work. Other area attractions include:

Getting There:

From Halifax: take Hwy. 102 to Truro, then take Hwy. 104 East. At Exit 22 just before New Glasgow, take Hwy. 106 across the causeway to the Pictou Rotary. Take the Pictou exit off the rotary, and then take the left fork in the road just inside Pictou (turn left onto Church Street). Continue through Pictou, past the golf course, 5 km (3 miles) along the shore and look for the Pictou Lodge Resort sign.

From Amherst: take either the Sunrise Trail (Hwy. 6) and watch for the signs to Pictou or take Hwy. 104 to Truro and on to New Glasgow. At Exit 22 just before New Glasgow, take Hwy. 106 across the causeway to the Pictou Rotary. Take the Pictou exit off the rotary, and then take the left fork in the road just inside Pictou (turn left onto Church Street). Continue through Pictou, past the golf course, 5 km (3 miles) along the shore and look for the Pictou Lodge Resort sign.

From the PEI Ferry Terminal at Caribou: Turn left 1/2 km from the ferry dock onto Shore Road. At the stop sign, turn left. After about 4 km (2.4 miles) you will pass Caribou Provincial Park, then look for the Pictou Lodge Resort sign.
