Room Information:

This is a 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a large grassed area of the property overlooking the Northumberland Strait. It is a short 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach.

The master bedroom with full bath ensuite has a Queen sized bed. This room has a French door to the back yard on the sea side of the house. The view and ocean sounds are wonderful from this room. The standard closet is large. There is a bedside table and chest of drawers as well as 2 reading lamps.

There are 2 smaller bedrooms across from the main full bathroom. Both have a window facing the ocean. These each have a double bed and a single bunk bed, adequate closet space, drawers and reading lamps.

The cottage houses 8 people comfortably with plenty of bedding, pillows etc for all. We also have 2 playpen/cribs for infants, as well as a portable seat to attach to a kitchen chair for infant meals.

The kitchen has more than enough dishes, pots and pans, electrical appliances and space to satisfy a gourmet chef. There are even lobster crackers and picks. A lobster cooker and pot are available. The barbeque is out on a large deck which also has a table with benches and an umbrella.

There are 4 bar chairs at the counter and the dining table has 6 chairs but would seat more. Extra chairs are to be found in various rooms of the cottage.

The comfortable living room is an open concept extension of the kitchen and dining room. This area is birght with large windows, a windowed door and east-west floor plan. Satalite TV and Internet are available as well as some DVD's, Cd's and Play Station games. The cottage is wired for sound to the veranda.

The windowed and screened veranda is large and furnished with one large table and padded chairs and one small table. There is also a set of wicker furniture to add to the relaxing atmosphere to sit and relax, visit or read.

The cottage is supplied with books and games as well as some outdoor play equipment, sand toys and boggie boards

There is a washer, dryer, liquid washer detergent and even a clothes line for those wet beach towels and bathing suits. Just off of the deck is a partially enclosed outdoor shower to clean off the sand before going in to the house.

The 2 full bathrooms are well supplied with towels and beach towels. Soap and small shampoos are available in case you forget your own supply. Other small amenities are also available.

We leave various amenities in the bathroom and for general comfort

Our house keeper, care taker is very careful to have the cottage in excellent condition for you when you arrive. The lawn is cut regularly and she is available if needed for any reason. The cleaning fee is included in the cottage rental rate.

Included in the published rate is 8 adults. (Maximum occupancy - 8 guests).

Cancellations:

CANCELLATION - (deposit is totally refundable if the cottage rents for this period, ½ not refunded if cottage remains un-rented.) Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

Administration policy on refunds: This site's administration policy on refunds: 10% of the total paid+ $3.00 booking fee is non-refundable. Refunds on remaining balance to be negotiated directly w/property owner subject to their policy.
