You’re never far from a beach on Prince Edwards Island. No point here is more than 16 kilometres (10 mi.) from the coastline. The beaches here are beautiful, and PEI experiences warm waters on the Gulf of St. Lawrence so you can even take a swim!

The Anne of Green Gables sites around Cavendish draw many visitors every year. This favourite childhood story has inspired many who have read it, and the author’s birthplace as well as the site that inspired the story of Anne Shirley. Visit the charming Village of Avonlea and learn about all your favourite characters.

Known as Canada’s golfing destination, you’ll find over 30 golf courses within 45 minutes of each other on Prince Edward Island. From challenging 18 hold championship courses to family friendly 9 hole locals’ favourites you’ll find a variety of golf games available. PEI features many of the Top 100 Courses in Canada and whatever your handicap you’re sure to enjoy a great time on the fairways here.

PEI has inspired many artists to call this place home. The arts scene here is thriving and you’ll find many art studios and galleries around the island full of beautiful treasures and pieces. Enjoy live theatre and music throughout the summer in various places around the island.
